With everything from the pandemic to the fight against racial injustice, many of us are at a breaking point and experts say support is needed. Leading mental health speaker Mike Veny shares his experience and knowledge of how to deal with the anxiety that COVID has caused, as he has been dealing with these emotions his whole life. "HHS, Morehouse in $40M initiative to address coronavirus, minority health disparities."

APB’s Daniel E. Dawes, director of the Satcher Health Leadership Institute is now tracking health inequities and advancing health equity in America with a new HHSS Morehouse Initiative. The U.S. Health and Human Services Department (HHS) announced a $40 million, three-year partnership with Morehouse School of Medicine to battle the COVID-19 outbreak in vulnerable communities, part of an effort to create a “strategic network” targeting underserved populations.  Dawes, told Yahoo! Finance on Tuesday that the goal was to “establish a national COVID-19 resiliency network (NCRN)” that shines a light on the communities that have been ignored.
