HEALTHCAST: VOLUME 18

Hello Cara,

Welcome to our latest volume of HealthCast. In this edition, we feature voices who draw from unparalleled experience to bring insight to the complicated issue of equity in healthcare and in our lives. From national policy and the digital divide for children and families lacking digital connectivity to disparities in healthcare access, we continue to see our most vulnerable and underserved populations severely affected.

It is time to fix our flawed systems to give everyone a fighting chance. APB’s newest exclusive speaker, Dr. Esther Choo, physician and founding member of TIME'S UP Healthcare, is known as a bold and innovative voice on gender and racial equity in healthcare. Dr. Choo is an advocate for new frameworks that create cultures of equity, safety and respect in our workplaces.

I hope you are well and I look forward to connecting soon,
Brenda

Daniel E. Dawes, Director of Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine, health policy expert and author helps get to the root of this uneven toll.
