HEALTHCAST: VOLUME 36

Hello Cara,

Reflecting on all that is love this coming Valentine's Day, we decided it's time to put yourself first, and not have it be just a day to show your love for others.  Perhaps you’re thinking, “I don’t have time to love myself.” Many of us struggle with the idea of putting ourselves first, as it is one of the hardest things to do.

When we’re feeling stressed and running around taking care of everybody else's needs, the healthiest thing we can do is to stop and remind ourselves that we matter too.  Whether you are overtaxed on the frontlines of healthcare or a parent or caregiver juggling too many things, when you pay attention to your mental and physical well-being, it changes how you handle life’s challenges. If you put yourself first, you’ll be a more present employee, boss, healthcare provider, friend and family member.

We hope that the speakers below inspire and motivate you to love yourself first!
Happy Valentine's Day!
