Brain Injury Awareness Month is a time to recognize the growing prevalence of traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and to help make lives better for individuals who have sustained this kind of trauma. We are honoring those whose lives are affected by brain injuries, including TBI patients and survivors, family, friends, caregivers and people working in the brain injury field. One of the most powerful ways to raise awareness is by sharing patients’ stories to let others know they are not alone in this journey.
